Morrison Colorado is a beautiful place to visit and live. If you are looking for things to do in Colorado, check out this list. Arrowhead is nestled in the Rocky Mountains and on the way to many great areas but it’s only minutes away from the greater Denver Metro area, Bailey, Pine, Conifer, Evergreen, and Golden. The area offers world class skiing, gold metal fly fishing, white water rafting, 4×4 tours, golfing, theater, concerts, museums, horseback riding, hiking, mountain biking, rock climbing, scenic drives, casinos, and many excellent restaurants. Red Rocks Amphitheater
The Colorado concert and music venue of all time!!! Party under the Colorado mountain stars while surrounded by this amazing, beautiful amphitheater created by nature!!! All your favorites probably already have, or will, at some point, sing here, from rock to country to jazz and more!! Action Go Cart Rental
Action Go Cart Rental is a blast and only minutes from Arrowhead. Rent a go cart and everything is included. Full body suits, helmets, gloves, and a go cart. They go up to 55 mph! Racing around the track is so much fun you won’t want to stop.
Bandimere Speedway
Bandimere Speedway is only minutes from Arrowhead and hosts some of the best national drag racing in the country. You can even race your own car on test and tune nights. Bring some sunscreen and spend the day at the drag races. Enjoy NHRA drag racing at its best!
Theater
Theater is growing around Arrowhead Manor. Come stay and check out a play at the Stagedoor Theater just down the road. Plenty of places to eat nearby. Make a night of it!
Colorado Central Station
Colorado Central Station is just one of the many gambling casinos nearby. Go and try your luck in Colorado’s “Las Vegas”. About a 45 minute drive will lead you to Colorado’s cowboy gambling towns. Downtown Morrison
Morrison’s little old town square is so busy you’ll need to plan ahead for parking!! Enjoy the fast pace, the occasional live music and the world famous margaritas at the Morrison Inn, indoors and out (seasonally), scrumptious Italian cuisine at Tony Rigatoni’s, the Czech fare at Cafe Prague, or, the new Beso de Arte restaurant (Spanish & Columbian is what we’ve heard!). Tiny Town
Tiny Town is a one of Colorado oldest attractions located just 8 miles from Arrowhead Manor. Nestled in a scenic mountain canyon, Tiny Town has over 100 unique 1/6th sized buildings. One of the most popular attractions in Tiny Town is the world famous Tiny Town Railroad. It takes kids and adults on an enchanting loop around the town and chugs up scenic Turkey Creek Canyon. Meyer Ranch Park
Meyer Ranch Park provides the perfect setting for an enjoyable hike or family picnic. The large, grassy meadows and heavily forested slopes have been a community landmark for many years. Evergreen Lake Park
Features include a 40 acre lake, 1 acre park with picnic tables and grills, wetlands, an observation boardwalk, a 1.3 mile long trail, a historical boat/warming house. Dinosaur Ridge:
Come discover local dinosaurs at a small museum perfect for families. MNHM is a small teaching museum and field research station focused on Front Range Colorado paleontology. Exhibit highlights include the first Stegosaurus and Apatosaurus bones ever discovered, as well as recently unearthed baby dinosaur footprints featured in Smithsonian magazine. Indoor Skydiving

White Water Rafting

Rock Climbing
If you are looking for a truly unique adventure in the Rocky Mountains, a rock climbing excursion should be at the top of your list! Less that 30 minutes away are some of the most spectacular rock formations for climbing at all levels of difficulty. The views to downtown Denver and surrounding mountains are absolutely stunning. They offer top rope climbing which is the safest way to rock climb because you are always tied to a rope above you.
