As we think ahead to the moments that matter, one of those is Valentine’s Day. Instead of defaulting to the usual routine, why not do something different this time?

Celebrating Valentine’s Day with us means trading the crowded restaurants and repetitive plans for a mountain getaway that feels personal, warm, and truly one-of-a-kind.
Arrowhead Manor has long been a favorite for couples looking to unplug, reconnect, and spend quality time together. Perched in the foothills of the Rockies, our bed and breakfast brings luxury, privacy, and nature into perfect balance. We’ve been hosting memorable Valentine’s Day celebrations for years, and 2026 will raise the bar even higher.
We’ve designed the upcoming Valentine’s experience with thoughtful details and tailored options, making it easy for every couple to craft a getaway that feels like theirs. From serene moments in the spa to stargazing from a private hot tub, every detail of our Valentine’s Day packages is built to celebrate love in a grand and intimate setting.
February sneaks up on all of us. That’s why now is the time to start thinking about your ideal Valentine’s Day experience. Looking for a peaceful mountain escape or something more adventurous? Our property gives you the flexibility to build your dream getaway.
Think morning coffee on a quiet deck with mountain views, slow evenings by the fire, and plenty of time to relax, connect, and enjoy each other’s company. Our staff is here to help you plan every piece, from surprise additions to custom touches in your suite.
Nothing sets the tone for romance like a cozy night in one of our luxury suites. This year’s Valentine’s Overnight Package creates a private, personalized escape for genuine connection and comfort.
Every suite gives you direct views of Colorado’s stunning foothills. Wake up to the quiet beauty of pine-dotted mountains and natural rock formations beyond your window. Some rooms even feature private decks, so you can sit outside with your morning coffee and take it all in without leaving your suite.
Each suite has either a jetted tub or private hot tub, along with a stone fireplace that brings warmth and ambiance. After a full day of exploring or relaxing, you can unwind in the tub with a glass of wine, and then curl up by the fire for a quiet evening.
As soon as you arrive, you’ll find chilled champagne in your room and a plate of fresh, chocolate-covered strawberries. It’s a simple touch that sets the tone for a romantic weekend. Want to go further? Add a bouquet of roses or a personalized gift through our booking team.
Our licensed massage therapists offer full-body couples massages in the privacy of your suite. We bring the spa to you with relaxing aromatherapy, soft lighting, and options to tailor the pressure to your liking. You can also add a couple’s facial or reflexology session to your package for a complete spa night.
Each suite includes plush robes, luxury linens, and soft ambient lighting for a calming atmosphere. Our bathrooms feature travertine or marble finishes, high-end fixtures, and large tubs built for two. You’ll also find extras like complimentary snacks, organic bath products, and cozy throw blankets perfect for movie nights.
Arrowhead Manor offers 420-friendly outdoor smoking decks for guests who want to incorporate cannabis into their stay. These quiet spots offer privacy, mountain views, comfortable seating, and fire tables that make them usable even on chilly February nights.
Unlike large resorts or chain hotels, our setup gives guests space to relax without interruption. Many of our suites have private entrances and dedicated outdoor areas, so you can come and go as you please. If you’re celebrating a proposal, an anniversary, or just carving out time together, our spaces can help you stay in the moment.
Dinner on Valentine’s Day should feel like an experience, not just another meal. Our gourmet offering is designed to be unhurried, flavorful, and full of romantic detail. With a mountain setting, candlelit ambiance, and carefully crafted dishes, it’s more than just dinner—it’s the highlight of the evening.
Our four-course prix fixe menu showcases the best of what Colorado has to offer. Each course is rich in flavor and beautifully plated.
Vegetarian, gluten-free, and dairy-sensitive options are available for each course. We’ll always confirm your preferences ahead of time.
Enhance each course with our optional wine pairings. We offer curated selections from local Colorado wineries, including bold reds from Palisade and crisp whites from boutique vineyards near Boulder. If you prefer something bubbly, our team can also recommend a sparkling wine that pairs perfectly with dessert.
Each pairing is served in the proper glass and introduced with a quick note on flavor and origin, so the meal feels connected and intentional without being overly formal.
A local acoustic musician will play a soft, romantic set during dinner service. The playlist leans into mellow classics and modern love songs played on guitar or piano. The music fills the space without making you raise your voice over your plate.
We keep the setting intimate and candlelit, with tables spaced for privacy. Lost in conversation or just enjoying the silence together? The atmosphere fits either mood.
We offer a private dining setup with limited availability for those looking for something even more intimate. These spaces are set apart from the main dining area, including custom decor like rose petals, handwritten menus, and extra candlelight.
Guests can request special touches like a custom playlist, a surprise dessert course, or a floral arrangement waiting at the table.
Once dinner wraps up, guests are welcome to move to our indoor lounge or one of the outdoor fire tables. It’s a quiet space to sip one last glass of wine or a warm drink, look out at the stars, and linger over conversation before returning to your suite.
A romantic getaway is also about how you spend your time together. At Arrowhead Manor, we offer unique and relaxed activities that help couples make the most of our scenic location while connecting in simple, meaningful ways.
Few things say romance like a quiet carriage ride under the Colorado sky. We partner with local providers to offer horse-drawn carriage rides that wind through nearby mountain paths and tree-lined roads. Couples can bundle up with cozy blankets, breathe fresh air, and enjoy a slow-paced experience that feels timeless and special. It’s an ideal way to start the evening or unwind after dinner.
Our guided wine tastings feature selections from Colorado’s growing wine scene, including reds from the Grand Valley and crisp whites from smaller high-altitude vineyards. We serve each pour with a pairing snack—like local cheeses, nuts, or chocolates—to complement the flavors. Learn about the wine’s origins, get tasting notes, and maybe discover a new favorite bottle to take home.
Arrowhead Manor offers direct access to trails that lead into the surrounding hills and forests. Whether you want a short walk or a longer hike, you’ll find quiet paths with mountain views, pine trees, and the occasional deer or fox crossing your path. We recommend bringing a thermos of coffee or cocoa and heading out in the morning for a peaceful start to your day.
Trail maps are available on request, and we’re always happy to point you toward a route that matches your preferred activity level.
Once the sun goes down, the sky above Arrowhead Manor puts on a show. Our location—just far enough from city lights—offers excellent visibility for stargazing. Guests can borrow a blanket and settle into one of the outdoor lounge chairs or decks for a quiet evening under the stars. It’s a perfect way to end the day in calm silence or soft conversation.
During your stargazing session, we also offer warm drinks like mulled wine or spiked cider.
If you’re in the mood for a low-key night in, we’ve got you covered. Add a movie night kit to your stay, which includes a curated list of romantic classics, gourmet popcorn, and cozy extras like extra pillows and throws. You can also request board games or card games to enjoy together.
These little add-ons allow you to stay in without missing out on quality time.

One of our favorite quotes that fits the spirit of the day:
“You are my heart, my life, my one and only thought.” — Arthur Conan Doyle
It’s simple, heartfelt, and captures the kind of closeness we hope every couple experiences during their stay at Arrowhead Manor.
Valentine’s Day traces back to ancient Rome and Saint Valentine, a Christian martyr. The exact history is mixed with legend, but one story suggests that Saint Valentine performed secret weddings for couples when the Roman emperor banned marriage. Over time, February 14th became associated with love and devotion. While the origins are centuries old, the core idea remains the same—celebrating love in all forms.
Our 2026 package includes a luxury overnight stay in one of our romantic suites, a gourmet four-course Valentine’s dinner, champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries upon arrival, access to our outdoor lounging areas, and optional add-ons like in-room massages, private wine tastings, and personalized surprises. Guests who stayed with us in 2025 had great things to say. Many appreciated the quiet, peaceful setting and how easy everything felt from check-in to dinner.
