Arrowhead Manor Information Guide

Dear Valued Guests,

Welcome to the the Arrowhead Manor! Our Arrowhead information guide will answer most of your questions.  Our family & staff welcomes you and yours to our humble home away from home. We hope once here you will now have a new preferred getaway.  We offer a private event space, and home away from home for you and yours again and again. Like most guests before you, your party will also find our mix between small hotel, BnB, European Manor/Colorado Mountain Getaway is a great place celebrate. 

Opened in 2004, our family has put our hearts & souls & every available hour, effort and expense we had (and some we didn’t) into trying to make this more than just a B&B. More of a unique, ambient and romantic Inn or Mini Hotel, and to assure that our Guest’s stays will be as comfortable and relaxing as possible. As most can see, we are working hard to earn our reputation of being a “better than average bed and breakfast” and “offering more than our competitors.

 Furthermore, we hope you will agree with the majority that we’re better, and will see all the many ways we try to be. Find the Arrowhead Manor a unique and special place where you and yours can and will come many times throughout the years to celebrate many happy memories, and love, life and laughter.

It is the goal of everyone here at Arrowhead to make your stay as perfect as you had hoped. There are many ideas for things to do in the area. We can also assist you with directions to nearby attractions and restaurants. We are here to make you feel as relaxed and comfortable as possible.

Someone is Always Available

If however, while you are here, there is EVER something you need to make your stay better &/or anything that you don’t like, please let us know. We have extra staff living and working onsite here and a round the clock hotel phone system and intercom so that our staff can assist you within seconds to moments.  They can handle things quickly and efficiently for you, even after hours emergencies. But if you have any problem, or need, please let us know IMMEDIATELY, as soon as the situation calls for it, and right as it happens, not after your stay. We want to hear from you and want to assure that we and our staff are always able to assist you with any needs that you have.

Additionally, we try to have the house in great condition but in the rare instance something is wrong, even the smallest things, we can resolve any issues very quickly.  Please call directly to us, your Innkeepers, James and Marguerite, as it is the only way we can know there is a problem and only when we know there is a problem can we fix it. We love our guests and want only the best for them. Please help us to accomplish that by keeping us informed of your needs, comments, suggestions, and immediately for your complaints.

Allergies / Special Dietary or Other Needs / Problems &/or Complaints of any kindalso hope to assist our valued guests in every way possible in enjoying their stay.  Guests should typically inform the hosts at the time of booking at a BnB if there are any allergies or special dietary &/or any other special needs.  Should you require anything special in any way, please alert Guest Services immediately, preferably at the beginning of, or prior to, your stay.  We are always happy to accommodate every Guest in whatever ways possible, whenever possible.

 

Baths

For the sake of all Guests, we do ask that everyone please run your showers and tubs carefully and responsibly. While we do offer more than the average BNB, including Instant Hot for the showers, being a small Inn/BNB means we are all staying in a house and not a hotel with unlimited hot water. Please be considerate of other staying Guests by not taking excessively long showers or numerous baths and showers.  For your enjoyment, we may have provided you with additional bath amenities such as bath salts to help you relax in your jetted tub and/or cosmetic removal wipes, as well as special samples you can even take with you. The Inn does also sell Spa Gift Sets if you want to pamper your special someone.  

 Need Bubbles in Your Bath?

We caution you, strongly, to use the tiniest little amount of bubble bath, bath soap, or bath salt, (literally one drop at a time-running your jets for a few minutes before adding another) for several reasons.  One, once you press the jet button, your bubbles will begin to grow and will not stop for quite awhile after you have turned them off.  We have heard about bubbles over 2’ tall.  And too, Soap, Shampoo, Bubble Bath, &/or Bath Salts or Oils or Lotions can all be slippery.  We urge you to use less, or none, over risking your safety.  Call Guest Services(303-738-8454) to inquire.

Of course, the Inn can also arrange your purchase &/or rental of any other travel necessities such as a snacks, toothbrushes, disposable razors, sewing kits, shoe shine, deodorant, rain ponchos, packs of soda, lotion and bath sets, local maps, bottled water, etc.. There are also other amenities available for purchase, from forgotten toiletries &/or items, to concert night or afternoon barbeques, 3, 4 or 5 course dinners, Weddings, Elopements, Parties, Beverage Services, Spa, Massage &/or Beauty Services as well as Shuttle Services. Booking, Cancellation, and Charge-back Policy

We hope guests can understand we cannot refund after the fact for something that was correctable or remedied by calling staff or Management directly as it happens.  

We do accept cancellations within 30 days notice.  Processing and administrative fee will be accessed and a refund of 90% will be issued.  If less notice is given, we do try to rebook your room.  Once 100% Inn occupancy has been reached, and all monies collected, we will issue a refund of 90% of the amount we were able to rebook your room for.   All refunds are issued by check.  Should a Guest ask or require that a refund be placed to your credit card, at no fault of Arrowhead, an additional credit card/refund processing administration fee will be charged.  Please allow up to 3-4 weeks for Refund processing. These fees vary but can be as much as 10% depending on our overhead and costs. The remainder of our policies are listed on our website on the Terms of Service page.

Breakfast

Breakfast is served in the great room from 8:30am – 9:30am.  Your breakfast is cooked to order, like a restaurant, and there are different choices you can pick from.  We serve Community coffee imported every month and the views at breakfast, WOW!   

If you can’t make the breakfast  hour and would like a continental breakfast set up for  you, please let us know the night prior and we will be happy to put a self serve continental breakfast together for you.  Please call 303-738-8454 to set this up the night prior.

**Unfortunately, we do not offer a breakfast in bed service. We’ve tried, but had very bad experiences and spills. We can, however, offer a continental breakfast to bring to your room, just not a hot breakfast. If you would like to arrange for a continental, please let us know the night prior, so that we can make sure we have what we need to put it together.

Candle Usage

Candle usage at Arrowhead Manor is prohibited. Arrowhead understands that you might be here for a romantic evening, and you are looking to “heat up” the romantic mood. However, candles are very dangerous and can be very messy. A tipped over candle can cause a fire and spilled wax can damage Arrowhead property, which could result in charges incurred. If you are fully insistent on candles, battery operated tealight candles are a great alternative. Arrowhead can provide you with battery operated candles for a very small fee. Check-In & Check-out Time

Additionally, a personal check-in walk-through tour, wherein Guests are shown the extra special amenities Arrowhead has to offer may be prearranged between 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm.  Any time after 6:00 pm, a note will be placed on the front door providing you with information on entering the manor, as well as self check-in instructions, as well as parking instructions & directions to your room.  Checkout is required by 11 am.  An early check-in, &/or late checkout cannot be guaranteed.  Call Guest Services to inquire. 303-738-8454.

Coffee, Tea & Beverage Services

The Inn provides Coffee Makers with coffee and coffee condiments in the rooms. Within the Great Room is also a coffee vending machine for guest use. The Inn also serves coffee and hot tea daily along with breakfast in our Great Room from 8:30am to 9:30 am only.

Cooking and Fire-starting by Guests

For the safety of all Guests, the Inn does allow Guests with clean hands to access the dishes labeled as for Guest use in the Kitchen, as well as the microwave and filtered water. The Inn cannot allow any onsite cooking or grilling by any Guest. We also offer free microwave popcorn in the Great Room Movie Rental cabinet.

Computer Usage by Guests

During regular office hours, Arrowhead Caretakers can provide Guests with office and Concierge Services for our Guests such as looking up &/or accessing email, maps, area information, &/or checking &/or securing flights or other such necessary information.   Printing services can also be arranged, see Fax/Copying/Printing section of this book &/call 303-738-8454 for more information.

Concierge Services

Arrowhead does offer free Wi-Fi in the Great Room, our Suites and Guest Rooms and other limited areas of the building, including on the many decks.  Arrowhead also offers limited Concierge services such as getting or giving directions to, and information regarding, local restaurants, lounges and some other places, as well as local shuttle or transportation information.   There is also a local map available by the Guest Entrance Door (under Carport).  Please call during Guest Service Hours should you need assistance.  303-738-8454.

Credit Cards & Credit Card Alterations &/or Recharges

We do accept Debit Cards, American Express, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover. To refund for cash &/or recharge &/or switch &/or split between multiple cards adds 10% administrative fee.

 Damages

We do try to offer special touches including fine finishes, fine furnishings, faux-painted walls, luxury towels & linens, luxurious amenities, and etc. at affordable prices. Arrowhead asks that you please be respectful. The Arrowhead Manor is a family-owned business, and does not have the support of a chain hotel.  It is for this reason that we must charge the room card on file, &/or the Guest in question, if damages or missing items are discovered. 

 This includes stolen DVD’s, blow-dryers, remotes, linens, towels, and etc. Arrowhead provides guests with makeup remover towelettes and black wash cloths, instead of using the white wash clothes we provide. Please understand that make-up these days are waterproof and very difficult to get out of a white wash cloth. Arrowhead suggests using the make-up remover first, and then using the makeup wash cloth.  Almost anything at Arrowhead, however, might be available for sale. Emergencies

For emergencies, please call 303-738-8454. If there is no answer, call back immediately. If you have a medical emergency, please dial (9) 911.  

Entertaining / Parties / Events / Get-togethers / Outside Guests

To be fair to our other Guests and for safety reasons, Guests must obtain written Arrowhead Manor pre-approval before any parties &/or get-togethers &/or meetings &/or events, or anything of the like, are ever held by any Guest staying at the Arrowhead Manor.  This includes all such get-togethers whether by just Arrowhead Guests (staying here) or outside Guests (not staying here).  Guests may allow short-term visits of 1 hour or less of up to 4 Non-Paying Guests (not staying with us), per room, or per Group, during the hours of 11 am to 8 pm, in our Great Room/Lobby area. 

 Entertaining &/or parties of persons in Guest rooms or any other area in any other way is considered a party or event and will be billed at our current prices.  Requests for changes &/or additions to your overnight room rental agreement to allow for a party or event or etc., may be made by calling Guest Services. 

 At late or inconvenient times, the Inn may not be able to accommodate last minute changes such as these.  Guests attempting to hold any unauthorized party, meeting or event of any kind, incur charges as posted. Please understand that other guests are here to enjoy themselves as well. If such party or Event will inconvenience other Guests too much, Arrowhead may not be able to accommodate. Energy Conscientiousness Guest Request

We are a business who believes in everyone being as energy conscious as possible, especially due to the current energy crisis.  We ask that all Guests please enjoy every luxury and amenity offered while still respecting our limited budget, and while attempting to help all of us in America to conserve all the natural resources we are fortunate enough to still have including, but not limited to gas, water, electricity, paper and the like. 

 Remember, just like Oil and Gas, the more we use it, & the more we waste it, the more they’ll know we need it and the more they know they can charge us all for it!  All Guests are asked to please turn off all lights, fireplaces, water, televisions, computers, etc. when not in use.   All Guest are also asked to please keep all windows and doors closed and locked at all times, and to please not heat or cool the outdoors!

Fax/Copy/Printing Services/Secretarial Services

Fax/Copy/Print & other secretarial services are available by advance request between the hours of 10:00 am to 11:00 am and from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm, by calling Guest Services ahead of time. Copies and Printing services are available for $10.00 for pages 1-5, $1.50 for each page thereafter.  Outgoing faxes are $10.00 for pages 1-2, and $1.00 per page thereafter, for a maximum of 3 attempts.  Outgoing long-distance faxes are $15.00 for pages 1-2, and 5.00 per page thereafter, for a maximum of 3 attempts. 

 Outgoing international long-distance faxes are going rate of long distance to that country or locale, plus secretarial fees of $10.00 for pages 1-2, and $5.00 per page thereafter, for a maximum of 3 attempts.  Incoming faxes are $10.00 for pages 1-2, and $1.00 per page thereafter.  Please dial Guest Services  (303-738-8454), well in advance, if you will need such services.   We do not have color printers.  Secretarial Services are available during certain hours on certain days by calling Guest Services ahead of time. Florist

Food Service/Breakfast in Room

Experienced Travelers have learned to plan ahead when traveling, especially for meals.  Traveling is never the time to put anything off to the last minute.   Restaurants in the area come and go, close on certain days, close early, or close altogether.  Please be wise and call well ahead of the time you think you will be hungry, to inquire about hours, website info, directions and reservations, before going to any restaurant, or other place of business. 

 AND, be smart, call earlier than you think you need to, just to be sure!  No Cooking by Guests is allowed.  We can leave a continental breakfast in your room if notified the day prior. House Rules and Etiquette

Mutual Respect is expected in every place that anyone stays overnight, whether that be a hotel, one’s friends, or family, or even a Bed and Breakfast.  Guests should be aware that all Guests are here for their own reasons and agenda.  It is for this reason that we ask that all Guests respect that this facility should be kept quiet, tranquil, “PG” and family friendly & respectable for the enjoyment of all. 

 Peace and calm is typical and expected in all main &/or common areas of the building, at all times, by all Guests, even in larger groups.  Complete quiet in all areas of the building, and dimmed main area noise and lights are expected between the hours of 10 pm, and 10 am.  Please no lewd or crude behavior &/or dress in common areas, inside or outside, at any time, including nudity &/or partial-nudity, lingerie or revealing clothing.  At no time ever is nude or partially nude sunbathing allowed at Arrowhead. 

 Family Friendly, respectable behavior, music, comedy, conversation, and attire are also a great way to show respect for others and are expected, at all times, when in the company of others &/or in all common areas of the building.  All Guests are also asked to be fully covered and that TV is set to an appropriate station when you have requested any staff member enter your room &/or for all other staff visits. 

 No running, sliding &/or any other type of horse-playing in the building.  No parties, entertaining, meetings, events or the like without express and written consent of Arrowhead.   Rooms are double occupancy and are not meant for parties &/or events.  All Parties, events &/or meetings shall be pre-approved, in writing, by Arrowhead.  Any that are not, upon discovery, may be immediately stopped &/or asked to leave & at all times upon discovery all applicable charges will be applied. Guests asked to leave for abusing our policies will not be issued any refund.  Call Guest Services to inquire. 303-738-8454.

Housekeeping / Room Cleaning

Housekeeping and room touch-ups and/or cleaning is typically performed between the hours of 10:30 am and 2 pm, at Arrowhead discretion, as our day allows.  If staying multiple nights, Housekeepers may touch-up your room while you are out for breakfast &/or other errands, at any time, as the day allows. If you have a special request, or need additional toiletries, towels, pillows, etc. please call as early in the day as possible, we are happy  to assist you.

Arrowhead does everything in our power to conserve water and protect our environment. From water conserving toilets and water appliances, we can help keep our planet beautiful and bountiful. For this reason, Arrowhead asks our guests to follow our towel changing policy. If you would like to keep your towel(s), hang them back up. If you are wanting you towels exchanged, place them on the floor of your bathroom and our housekeeper will replace them.

Sheets are placed every third or fourth day of any consecutive stay, based on your request, by calling housekeeping at 303-738-8454 upon your arrival.  If Guests will be accommodating or switching a room out for other Guests, additional housekeeping services can be arranged by calling Guest Services.  Please call Guest Services ahead of time if you would like to place your room on do not disturb, cancel, or increase your housekeeping service &/or if you will require additional linens, towels or blankets.

Ingress/Egress/Entering/Exiting the building-The MOST Important Rule of the House!!   

PLEASE READ!!!!  PLEASE DO NOT use the Front Door!!!!  PLEASE only use the Carport Door!!

In an effort to maintain security for all Guests, we request that all Guests please do not exit through the front door. PLEASE!!  All of us are counting on one another to keep the building as safe possible. And to keep out solicitors, and people who just pull in from the highway. If the front door is open, many tourists, or locals who are curious and just want to see the place, come walking in. 

We take tours by appointment only. All Guests are asked instead to please use only the side door (carport door) unless it is an emergency or they are receiving a Visitor and then to please have someone make sure the front door is shut (it automatically locks) after your using it.  For receipt of food deliveries, or transportation services, Guests are asked to please have your driver meet you at the side door, calling the Guest by cell phone upon arrival.  Arrowhead does also have certain security measures in place that you might not find at your Average bed and Breakfast. We also have cameras in all Main Areas, indoor and out and many automatically locking doors and deadbolts.

Iron and Ironing Boards

Iron(s) and ironing board(s) are available for Guest use.  Please contact Guest Services to bring one to you, or to remove from your room when finished.  Please do not leave in common areas.  Please allow up to ½ hour for delivery or removal. Thank you!

Laundry/Dry-Cleaning Services

Arrowhead can, occasionally; (not at all times) offer Laundry Service to the Guests. Load charges are $15 and up based on load size and complexity. Laundry must be dropped off by 9 am and will usually be returned by 6 pm the same day, or the following day by 11 am.  As this is a courtesy for our Guests, Arrowhead is not responsible for any damage or loss to laundry. Guest may also find Dry Cleaning services available at the King Soopers or Safeway Shopping Centers to the west of our facility.

Lost and Found

Arrowhead Manor tries to offer the very best security we can as a small Bed and Breakfast, better than even most hotels.  However, this is a courtesy, and is not a guarantee of any kind.  Arrowhead Manor is not responsible for lost, misplaced, forgotten &/or stolen items. 

 It is advised that no Guest leave valuables of any kind, &/or cash, anywhere in the building &/or any Guest room.  Guest items found by our staff will be placed in our lost and found and held for 14 days, or until claimed by a Guest, whichever is sooner.  After 14 days all lost and found items will be donated &/or disposed of.  It is advised that all Guests return within the 14-day period to pick up any belongings left behind by calling the office in advance to schedule a pickup time.  Or, items claimed by Guest within 14 days, if found, can be mailed back to the Guest, charging all shipping and handling to the Guest’s credit card.

Medical

For medical services please look up Urgent care centers on your cell phone, laptop, or other internet access OR CONTACT 911.  You’re your room phone dial 9+911.  If you use the information in this book it may not be current, so please call before going.

Marijuana

Arrowhead supports your constitutional rights.  Purchasing and smoking marijuana is legal in Colorado, if over the age of 21.  While Arrowhead is a marijuana friendly establishment, please be discrete.  Others may not agree with this right.  Smoking is only allowed outside on the decks or patio.  A smoke smells in your room may incur charge of $175 or more for removal.  Any damages will also be paid by your party. Movies & Popcorn

Movies and  Popcorn are available to our guests in the main great room. Just look for the Movie Cabinet.  The microwave is in the side of the kitchen island.  Please, for the sake of everyone else (burnt popcorn smells awful), whenever making popcorn we ask that Guests please use the popcorn button only, or at the most 2.25 minutes, and watch your popcorn closely.

Outside Vendor / On-Site Massage & Spa Services

Unfortunately, due to insurance reasons, we cannot allow Guests to bring outside Vendors to provide services to Arrowhead Manor.   Arrowhead can, however, arrange on-site Spa, Hair, Skin, Nail, Make-up & other Services for your convenience.  Guests using Outside Vendors to perform any services at Arrowhead will be charged Outside Vendor fees. Parking

For the convenience of other guests and in efforts to help us provide the safest parking lot possible, please everyone follow these rules of etiquette and safety.  Please wear safe, non-slip shoes at all times, inside or outside the building.  We are trying to enable ALL Guests to park in the East Parking lot (by the Carport door).  We ask that all Guests park with the nose of their cars facing out toward the east cliff, as politely as you possibly can, to assist all of our other Guests in also having convenient parking. 

 Please do not park parallel and PLEASE do not park under the carport, for any reason.  Please, everyone be very cautious backing up.  The Inn does not pay damages or costs for any vehicles.  If you would feel safer, you may also park your car on the North side of the building.   Please call Guest Services should you need and assistance.  303-738-8454.

Pet Policy

For the convenience of other guest and in efforts to help us provide the cleanest and most sanitary accommodations possible, pets are not permitted in Guest areas, or in your room or suite.  Guests abusing or ignoring this policy will pay all related charges and pet clean-up fees for a minimum of $175.

Restaurants and Entertainment

In any mountain community it is easy to get lost at night, or in the daytime, and some businesses are closed after 7 pm or on certain days &/or may be closed for good!  We have even seen signs of several businesses closing for a whole day &/or a couple of hours with a closed or out sign.   All Guests are advised to go online and check reviews, menu, prices and etc.  Although, we do warn, sometimes reviewers are just being vindictive for personal or other reasons.  Sometimes better to read all reviews.

All Guests are also advised to be sure to call ahead to get complete directions AND to confirm the business is open before going. See Map on the wall by Southeast Carport Entrance for Local Cities!!!*  

Smoking

NO smoking is allowed inside the building. Around the exterior of the building, the smoking receptacles provided should always be used.   The Fire Marshall has set our smoke alarms to be extremely sensitive and even tells us which room was smoking.  Charges may be assessed when they come out for false alarms like this.  

The Fire Alarm is also extremely loud and will upset everyone in the building.  Any Guest causing damages &/or losses to our forest, our building, &/or our Guests &/or any other person, by ignoring these rules above, shall pay all charges, damages and losses.  These will be assessed to the Guest who was smoking should these unfortunate events occur, plus all applicable cleaning and removal charges.   Please use only the smoking receptacles located on the decks or the carport. Smoke Charges are a minimum of $175 per night and up, based on losses incurred.

Sleeping / Noise

The Inn does require quiet and dim lights in main areas, and near sleeping areas during the hours of 10pm and 10am.  However, there are always some Guests who will always find it difficult to sleep while traveling due to other people &/or activity in the building &/or because of jet lag.  Our facility has soundproofing and is therefore quieter than most. For those Guests who still have difficulty sleeping while staying away from home, Arrowhead can arrange to provide the free use of a white sound machine, or Arrowhead does have ear plugs as well.  Call Guest Services for assistance if needed.  303-738-8454.

Surveys, Tips &/or Gratuities, Comments & Complaints

Since opening in May of 2005, and through our constant efforts to improve and evolve, Arrowhead continues to maintain a 99% or better Customer Satisfaction Rating throughout. We have received thousands and thousands of raving four and five star reviews (most handwritten and signed!) and have received many accolades and awards and even many referrals and repeat business from the majority of our Guests who have loved this property we were so blessed to have found, and all that our family and staff have tried to create here. 

Eventually we will be trying to add all those reviews to our website and to our wall of fame Stairway. Until then, just a small handful of the comments we have received are downstairs in the Great Room area for our guests to read. Please leave us your comments as well. Complaints &/or Suggestions are always best  handled when Guests quietly and confidentially bring them to our attention by calling Guest Services from their room rather than making another Guest’s stay or experience uncomfortable. 

 We ask that all are brought to our attention at the time of the service and/or stay as nothing can be done to accommodate someone after such has transpired and passed.  Unfortunately we cannot refund or discount after a stay or service has been used.  Please leave all comment cards, tips, reviews, in the comment card/tip box by the Carport door.  If you would like to leave a tip for anyone in particular, please note that on your comment card so that Management can make sure it got to the right person(s).

Long Distance (any long distance calls made from within the building will be accessed all applicable charges & surcharges)  It is advised that Guests purchase a Calling Card instead (much less expensive).  Call Guest Services to inquire.

Receiving a call?  You may receive calls/messages at 303-738-8454 + your extension.

BLINKING LIGHT on your Phone?  You have Voicemail!  Dial *8 and follow prompts.   Call Guest Services if you have any questions.

Television Remote Instructions

If the music is on when you arrive, the Direct TV is already on.  Just press the guide button to see what’s playing.  Scroll up and down to look at stations or punch in a channel.  

When going to bed, or turning everything off, push the little button in the top left corner of the remote.  This is to turn everything off only!  

To turn on the TV press the activities button and select watch TV or watch DVD.  Keep the remote pointed towards the TV for 10 seconds and don’t press anything.  Once everything is on and working, press the guide button to see what’s playing.  If there is no picture or sound, you probably have something on the wrong input.  Push the help button and follow the instructions on the screen.

Turndown service

Turndowns of Guest Room covers are offered by request, between 4:00 and 6:00 pm, as our day allows.  For any Guest requesting this service, please dial 303-738-8454 earlier in the day.

All Guests or Clients of Arrowhead are automatically entered into raffles and drawings for Free Overnight Stays, Free Gift Certificates to give away, or to keep for themselves, as well as other discounts.  Soon, we hope, Arrowhead will have Murder Mystery Theater & Dinner Theater Events, Art & Antique Auctions, Farmer’s Markets, a Café, A Wine Tasting Room (&/or, better yet, we hope, eventually a Winery), a Coffee & Dessert Kiosk, Special Events, Dinner & Dance Lessons, Live Entertainment, Medieval Murder Dinners, as well as many other events in the new room & event meadows being built this fall/winter.

Wake-up Calls

The Inn supplies an alarm clock in every room for your convenience. You should find this one of the drawers in your room and unplugged so as to help our guests avoid being woken by someone else’s previous settings. Please reset your alarm clock upon plugging it in just in case the last Guests had it set for the wee hours!  We cannot provide guaranteed wake-up calls but if you call before 5 pm the evening before we can set up one additional courtesy wakeup ring in your room in addition to the one ringer we do at approximately 8:30 am to wake you for breakfast at 9.  night to get all of you to remember to say I love you to someone you love, to kiss your partner, to say hello to your housemate(s), that we do at the 9 am. 

We do try to offer a courtesy wakeup call to all Rooms around 9:15 am to assure all Guests are able to come down to enjoy breakfast by 9:30 am, before we wrap up and put everything away.  Or, if Guest cannot join us for Breakfast during those hours, if prearranged, Guest can be provided with a Continental Plus Breakfast to enjoy at any time.   We try to only let the phone ring once or twice in case you are sleeping, and we do not leave a message so if you hear a ring or two around at 9:15 am, please know that is the reason. If you prefer not to receive this call, please call Guest Services before 9 pm to advise us.

In case of fire, Have a plan ready!

Arrowhead Manor has taken many precautions to protect your safety and security while you stay with us. However, take a few moments to plan for the unexpected should a fire break out. The following information could prove invaluable to you in case of an emergency. Please read it thoroughly.

Immediately after you arrive at your room, examine the possible escape routes available to you. Find the nearest fire alarm pull station. If any kind of smoke is present, and/or in a worse case scenario, any spark, flame or fire breaks out in your room, please note the below information and please follow the safety guidelines on the back of your room door.

Please also close the door tightly behind you to keep the hall free of smoke and flames. Activate the nearest fire alarm pull station. If possible you should report the fire to the staff (dial 8011 and yell fire) and they will contact the fire department as they are also trying to make sure all guests and building inhabitants are safe. If a fire breaks out in any part of the building, you may be roused by the fire alarm signal, which is set extremely loud. This can also go off when people are smoking or using candles or incense or anything burning inside their rooms, and/or anywhere inside the building, so please, we ask guests, please don’t smoke inside.

Guest Services are available 24/7 for emergencies, and regular assistance from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm for non-emergencies. Please dial extension 303-738-8454 or extension 371 from your room phone. To call an outside line, like 303-f we are helping other Guests you might receive voice mail.  If you receive voice mail, PLEASE DO NOT leave a message but keep calling back until someone is reached. They will be able to help you as promptly as possible.  For anything more urgent, &/or if a call back cannot be waited for, you may try our emergency numbers of 303-718-8216.  Any other  DIRE EMERGENCY CALL 911 or 9 + 911 from your room phone!
